About me

Filming at the Colosseum, Rome, Italy

I’m a creative, reliable and organized public relations professional, with an engaging and witty writing talent. I’m energized by new and emerging social media, and currently save a company 30 percent on its social media investment. I enjoy using digital media to visually communicate, including videography, photography and design.

My organization and detail-oriented mindset have helped me plan over 10 successful events. I’ve used my creativity and strategic planning to assist on PR campaigning for a levy, which passed at 71 percent. I transferred these skills to help a non-profit generate and install a $3,000 campaign.

My comprehensive professional experience includes 5 years in writing, editing and blogging, 2 years in digital media, 2 years in PR planning, 2 years in social media and 1 year in event planning, and a Masters in Public Relations from Boston University makes me a qualified and confident public relations professional. My enthusiasm for writing, blogging, digital media and social media alongside my experience prove I will be an energetic, skilled and reliable asset to any company.

Red Sox game

When I’m not preparing PR plans or perusing Mashable, you can find me pounding pavement, biting my nails over Boston sports, flying off to a new adventure or comparing craft beers, preferably Weisse.

I love running, and completed the Washington D.C. Marine Corps Marathon in 2007, and although I didn’t qualify at the time, I’m dead set on making it into the Boston Marathon before my knees give out on me.

Boston sports are my thing. Whether it’s the Celtics, Sox or Patriots, you can expect to find my stomach in knots until the very end of the game. And if the ending’s comparable to the Sox in 2011 or the Pats in 2012, those knots turn into screams of utter horror.

Riding camel back into the Sahara

If I could get paid to travel, I’d be a nomad for life. I love exploring new places, meeting people across cultures, and diving into the unknown head first. Unless it’s into the ocean with snorkeling gear, because that turned out treacherous for me in the past.

And I love trying and comparing new craft beers. It’s kind of hard not to when my uncle and brother both brew their own. I’m a big fan of wheat beers, and enjoy exploring new breweries throughout the world. So far my favorite is Brooklyn Brewery … far enough away from Yankee Stadium and close enough to a great keg of my current favorite, the Brooklyn Weisse.
